Conscious tips Greens have many life giving properties. They strengthen the blood and immune system, prevent cancer and fight depression naturally by supplying a plethora of nutrients needed to make neurotransmitters. The fibre in raw greens also helps to keep the digestive tract moving, and many people report that greens are energy giving foods, increasing mental clarity and mood. Green smoothies are a delicious way to meet your daily green requirements and a super powered way to start your day.

A good ratio to start with is 40% fruit and 60% greens. The more you get used to the flavour of greens, you can cut back on the fruit and add more greens.
